Behind the scenes here at Highland Tourism, we’re working on a number of innovative and exciting initiatives on your behalf, these include:
- Building a new visitor-focussed site, Escape to the Highlands.
- Launching ‘Highland Tourism Talks’. A series of talks and workshops from some of the world’s leading tourism and destination movers and shakers, including International Best Practise / Conscious Travel / Digital / Environmental
- Creating a Highland Tourism Ambassador programme
- Building a directory of Highland Tourism businesses and services to be used as a networking and business development tool
- We are discussing an exciting Gaelic Translation project with Bord Na Gàidhlig
- We are in discussion with Keep Scotland Beautiful regarding a strategic Highland / Keep Scotland Beautiful partnership
- We have presented a proposal to create a Highland Food and Drink Directory to Scotland Food and Drink
