Wilderness Scotland has been dedicated to operating to the highest standards of sustainable tourism since starting its operations 20 years ago.

In addition to its pioneering Conservation Contribution Scheme, Wilderness Scotland has recently made a commitment to become a climate positive business by the end of 2021.

This journey started a few years ago when they invested in creating a carbon zero HQ in the Cairngorms National Park. The business’ commitment has been recognised in many awards over the years including twice winning the Best Green Tour Operator in the World Travel Awards.

For over 15 years they have held a Gold Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme – recognised as the world’s most credible Sustainable Tourism Programme.
