The largest street food event in Inverness city centre will take place later this month.

It follows the launch of the Highland Food and Drink Trail at the beginning of February.

The venture, involving a dedicated street food zone next to the River Ness and Inverness Cathedral, aims to showcase the best of local produce.

Highland vendors will set up stall on Saturday March 19 when they will offer produce such as seafood, pasta, smoked meats and gourmet burgers.

It will take place between noon and 7pm and names will include Ollies Pops, The Redshank, Tagliotello, Seasonal Flavour and Highland Hogroast.
