Gairloch Museum, a converted nuclear bunker, is home to showcasing the history, culture and natural heritage of the beautiful area of the North West Highlands. Displays include the original lens from Rubh Re lighthouse, a replica croft house showing how people used to live and an interactive gallery about our magnificent natural world. The museum is home to rotating exhibitions, an outdoor mini-museum, gallery and film theature. It doesn’t hurt that it’s in one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas.
