On the phenomenal NC500 route lies Tarbat. With a Pictish treasury, audio-visual theatre galleries activity area and crypt, there is plenty to see. Housed in a church building, a large portion of the collection is dedicated to Pictish art and the mysteries it holds. A truly worthwhile stop on any tour of the area.
